Mekhtar Ambar Hotel was opened in 2001. It is located in the historic center of the city, between Chor Minor Madrasah and Lyabi House Ensemble. The airport can be reached in less than 10 minutes and the train station is 15-minute drive away from the hotel.

The hotel is located in an antique caravanserai’s building dated from the XIX century. The hotel's interior is designed in oriental style, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and TV’s with satellite channels. The staff is hospitable and friendly.
